Exclusive: A new show called The Farm, a spin-off from the hit TV show The Office, will be coming in 2013. The show will star Rainn Wilson continuing his role as Dwight Schrute. The focus of the sitcom will be on his daily life on a beet farm that he owns with his slightly retarded brother named Mose.

"Its going to be fantastic," Rainn told The Daily Fakester. "Think of the most boring idea for a show that you can imagine. Then take the most annoying character from a show that has been getting worse with each passing season. Put the two together and what do you get? A bonafide hit, that's what!"

Explaining the premise of the show, Rainn continues, "The show will center on Dwight and his mentally challenged brother. Fans of The Office know a lot about Dwight already, but not much about Mose. Our goal with the viewers is to create an instant connection between them and his character. The best way to do that is to make him retarded. The writing staff and I feel most people on some level can relate to this type of character."

Dwight says, "Hello...PETA"
Rainn continues, "The show's concept is basic, it's about two beet farmers. Doing what you ask? You know...farming beets and stuff. If you remember from the office the beet farm is also a bed and breakfast, like most run down beet farms are. So we will have a lot of guest stars showing up to stay with us to do things like eat breakfast and sleep. I'm getting excited just thinking about it! The possibilities for this show are endless!"

When asked if the show would follow the "mocumentary" style approach like that of The Office he told us, "Absolutely! It makes the viewers feel like they are a part of the events going on in the sitcom. Just think about how boring a show about farmers would be if they didn't talk to shaky handed camera men and give knowing glances at the audience hinting to them when they are suppose to laugh. And trust me there will be a lot of bad camera work and a lot of looking at the camera for no reason."

Rainn informed us to keep a look out for The Farm coming out mid season 2013. "Meanwhile" he concluded "enjoy watching the current writers continue their jump over the proverbial shark in The Office."
