Facebook Goes Political

According to our source at the Executive Branch of the White House, the coming Presidential election will be hosted by Facebook rather than the traditional paper ballot.

The Zuck himself with the first lady
Mark Zuckerburg made the official announcement yesterday at a press conference.
He said "Rather then filling out those boring ballots and having to go to a specific location, we're pleased to announce that the presidential ballots for the 2012 Presidential Elections will be held entirely on Facebook!" He was greeted with much applause.

He continued "The process will be a simple one. Simply log into your Facebook account on your smartphone or computer, search for the candidate of your choice, and "like" their page. Whoever receives the most "likes" in 1 week wins!" He continued on explaining the many benefits when he said "The benefits to doing it this way are endless. Just to name a few though; Voter ID - Now we don't have to talk about this anymore. Since you login using your username and password, it's perfectly secure. Everyone knows that Facebook logins are almost never hacked. Convenience - Tons of Americans are already on Facebook all the time anyway. No need to get up from your chair. This way we can continue being lazy! Money - Not only does it save you the gas money since you won't have to drive, I make money because anyone who wants to vote needs to sign up for Facebook. It especially helps me out with the older crowd. Facebookalypse (Short for Facebook apocalypse) - Yes! Facebook is going to take over the world and destroy it! And finally, Winning - Yes, I am winning."

Again America will be tested. Mark Zuckerburg has always been met with great opposition each time that he changes things on Facebook, (i.e. Facebook Timeline). Numerous anthropologists have predicted that the new Facebook Ballot system will also be opposed by most people, but also that most people will continue using Facebook regardless. Dr. Frankenstein of Greendale Community College said "The thing about Facebook is that everyone hates when the Zuck changes it, and everyone voices their hatred for the new features. The problem here is that all these people voice their hatred ON FACEBOOK which only makes Mr. Zuckerburg more successful. People are failing to realize that Mr. Zuckerburg does not care what they think, he only cares about money." This quote from Dr. Frankenstein was taken from his Facebook page "I HATE FACEBOOK AND SO SHOULD YOU!!! (ALL CAPS EDITION)".
